Gabby Drees is working as a Visuals Editor for The Daily Iowan. She's freelanced for the Iowa City Press-Citizen and the Cedar Rapids Gazette covering sports, music, and breaking news, with a focus on human interest stories. 

As a visual storyteller, she is eager to produce emotionally rich stories, independent photo projects and short documentary films.

She served as a Director of Photography in the University of Iowa School of Journalism's flagship documentary workshop, and premiered her work at an independent cinema.

Gabby is open to work in the U.S. and beyond.
